Each piece I make is specific to the customer and no two pieces will look alike. Most of the pieces I make take 4-35 hours. I want to make my pieces as high quality as possible, so I take as long as I need.
When you first contact me I will ask for detail so we can come up with an idea together. If I think the idea is constructible, I will make a sketch of the piece and I will look for the materials and give you a price. Once I receive payment then I will make the item twice; once for practice and once for the final product.
I buy my materials from high-quality sources. I get the metal and the tools from Rio Grande. Rio Grande is located in New Mexico. They have a great variety of tools and metals. I don't buy my stones at Rio Grande because I like to see and feel each stone before I buy it to make sure it is the right size and has the right color. Instead, I go to a specialty store in Boston, MA called Boston Gem. They have a great variety of gems from serpentine to diamonds. I also buy stones at jewelry market places.
